This session will provide a comparative and critical treatment of several of main methodologies or intellectual styles in international legal scholarship. These will include: compliance studies/behavioral approaches; constitutionalism; critical history/social theory (e.g. David Kennedy and Martti Koskenniemi), constructivist and interpretative approaches (e.g. Kratochwil, Weiler, Teitel, Howse).
